Claude and Codex
TokenEater tracks Claude, Codex, or both. Connect the ones you use.
Claude: install Claude Code and sign in on a Pro, Max or Team plan. When macOS asks, click Always Allow once. Details in Keychain access.
Codex (labeled OpenAI in parts of the app): install the Codex CLI (npm i -g @openai/codex), then run codex login with your ChatGPT account. API-key and Keychain-stored logins are not supported.
Turn a provider on or off in Settings -> Providers (at least one stays on). With both on, the All / Claude / Codex switch in the window bar of Monitoring and History scopes the dashboard, popover, menu bar and History at once. Each mode keeps its own layouts.
