Studio

Where you customize how TokenEater looks, with a live preview. Open it from the pills at the top of the window, or right-click the menu bar icon -> Studio.

Four surfaces

  • Dashboard: order and hide the Monitoring blocks. Hidden blocks are kept; Reset order restores the default. The last visible block has to stay visible.
  • Popover: elements, styles and widths. See Popover.
  • Menu bar: segments, styles and colors. See Menu bar.
  • Themes: four presets (Default, Monochrome, Neon, Pastel) or your own colors, plus Neon glow (Glow or Flat). Thresholds are in Settings -> Pacing. See Themes & colors.

Click an element in the preview to select it. The real menu bar and popover update as you edit.

Templates

The popover has ten built-in templates, the menu bar eight. When your layout drifts from them, a Modified card appears: click it or Save as template to keep it. Switch popover templates from the menu bar's right-click menu -> Popover template.

Editing scope

All, Claude and Codex each keep their own dashboard, popover and menu bar layouts. With both providers on, the Editing picker chooses which one you edit. Themes are shared.

If an element would draw nothing, the editor says why: provider off (turn it on in Settings -> Providers), element from the other provider, not on your plan, or no data yet.
